SHK 1:2,6 scale glider

The SHK is a model made out of the Standard Austria from Rudiger Kunz and developed by 
Klaus Holighaus, this model was build by Schmepp Hirth since the year 1965.

Our model was mostly drawn in Australia by Andy and Shane, but they used the first models from foamwings, covered 
with balsa, We made our own ribs for the wings after that for serial production. 

Despite his enormous wingspan this model is easy to transport and doesn’t take much place 
in the hangar because of the option of splited wings (about  170cm each wingpart).
